Stay Golden Dog Camp & Retreat began with a single pup and a whole lot of love! In 2013, our founder, Jessica Golden, met her first dog, Rozay, on Mother’s Day — a moment that sparked a lifelong passion for caring for dogs. Soon, two more pups joined the Golden family, and what started as in-home boarding and daycare quickly grew into something much bigger.
With the support of our amazing clients, Stay Golden blossomed into a dedicated space for dogs to play, relax, and feel at home. Today, we’re excited to be welcoming campers to our 1,900 sq. ft. facility on 7 beautiful acres, conveniently located at 4117 Highway 70 W — just 10 minutes from downtown Dickson.
And the adventure doesn’t stop there! We are also building a brand-new 3,000 sq. ft. lodge to bring even more tail-wagging amenities, play areas, and cozy spaces for our four-legged guests. It’s all part of our mission to make every stay a getaway like no other.

At Stay Golden, boarding is more than a place to sleep — it’s a full camp experience for your four-legged adventurer. Every pup gets their own cozy “cabin,” daily attention from our friendly Camp Counselors, and the perfect mix of comfort, fun, and care.
We’ve designed camp-style lodging packages to match every camper’s personality — from playful pups who want to be in the middle of all the action to laid-back loungers who love extra snuggles and quiet time. Whether it’s group games in the Barkyard, bedtime snacks by the “campfire,” or a well-deserved spa moment before heading home, your dog’s stay will feel like the ultimate retreat.

At Stay Golden, daycare is all about fun, socialization, and enrichment! Your pup will build social skills, burn off energy, and enjoy supervised playtime in a safe and engaging environment. ☀️🐶
We’ve got both indoor and outdoor play spaces, so no matter the weather, the fun never stops! 🌦️
📌 Requirements to Book:
✅ All dogs must pass a behavioral evaluation before attending daycare.
✅ Up-to-date vaccine records (including Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, and Bordetella) are required.
PLEASE NOTE: We require all dogs over the age of 12 months to be spayed or neutered in order to be evaluated for group play. Intact animals will only be eligible for our enrichment play program.

We provide a secure, supervised, and stress-free environment for your furry friend. With cameras inside and out and a spacious, fenced-in "Barkyard", you can rest easy knowing your pup is safe and having a blast! We welcome all breeds, sizes, and special needs!

Buster is a sweet, 8-year-old Labrador Retriever mix who’s been patiently waiting for someone to notice his kind eyes and gentle soul. 🥰 Weighing 55 lbs, he’s neutered and up-to-date on all his preventatives—ready to join a loving home! 🏡
This mellow guy doesn’t soil in his kennel 🚫🐾 and walks beautifully on a leash. 🦮 He adores one-on-one time with staff and volunteers ❤️ and has done well socializing with other dogs here at the shelter. 🐕🦺 Buster isn’t a barker—he’s a quiet companion who would be a calming presence in any home. 🌟
